AFTERCARE

We use SANIDERM bandages.

• We recommend you leave the bandage on for 3 days

• SANIDERM is waterproof. You can bathe/shower with the bandage on. However, try to avoid excessive sweating as your sweat is bacterial and the bandage will hold that bacteria to your tattoo

• At day 3, remove the bandage under warm water. Starting from an edge, gently pull the bandage over itself slowly (just like peeling a banana) Avoid pulling upward, away from the skin, or ripping it off too quickly. For easiest removal, let warm water run behind the bandage as you peel it off.

• Once the bandage is completely removed, hand wash your tattoo with anti-bacterial soap. Rinse ALL the soap off. Pat dry with a clean paper towel.

• Apply a VERY light amount of AQUAPHOR and rub it in. Do this a couple times a day until your tattoo is smooth and free of any peeling. (Usually 10-14 days)
