FAQs

What Should I bring with me to my appointment?

Your photo ID. We cannot pierce or tattoo without it. For underage piercing, parent/guardian must have photo ID, and birth certificate of minor.

Will my tattoo or piercing hurt?

It is a needle, so YES it will hurt. The extent of pain varies by person and by location of artwork. Numbing cream can be used, and no we will not judge you for utilizing it.

My session will be a few hours, should I bring anything special?

You can bring anything that will make you more comfortable. Water, a snack, a sugary drink. Please be mindful any drinks have lids to prevent spills. You can also bring a book, headphones, etc.

I’m getting a tattoo in an area that I will need to undress for, is there anything for modesty?

If you’re getting a tattoo on your chest, back or legs where you will need to undress we will do our best to be sure you are covered. Bringing a jacket or button up for a large back piece is a good idea, pasties for a chest piece, or anything that will make you more comfortable. We cannot guarantee that you will be covered 100% of the time depending on placement.

Do I have to chat with you during my session?

Some conversation is necessary regarding placement, colors design etc, but it won’t hurt our feelings if you don’t want to chat! We understand, but we do love hearing your stories and experiences as well!

It’s my first tattoo or piercing and I’m nervous what can I do?

We’ve all been there! All of us started with no artwork on us, so we get it. We will walk you through the steps, and if you need a break, just let us know!
